- Ribeye steak
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp Fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- Smoked wood chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F. If using wood chips, soak them in water for about 30 minutes before smoking.
- Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and black pepper.
- Mix softened butter with minced garlic and chopped rosemary in a small bowl.
- Place the steak in the smoker and smoke for about 60-90 minutes or until it reaches the desired internal temperature.
- Add the garlic butter on top of the steak in the last 10-15 minutes of smoking.
- Remove the steak from the smoker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
For best results, let the steak come to room temperature before cooking and use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
