Description

A refreshing and easy-to-make slushie that captures the essence of summer with sweet watermelon and a hint of salty spice from Tajin.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Watermelon, cut into chunks
  • 12 teaspoons Tajin seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 2 cups Ice
  • Agave syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the watermelon into chunks and remove the seeds.
  2. Blend the watermelon chunks until smooth, about 30 seconds to a minute.
  3. Add lime juice and Tajin seasoning to the blender and blend again until well combined.
  4. Mix in the ice and blend until it reaches a slushy consistency.
  5. Serve immediately in a glass, garnished with extra Tajin on the rim.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for 1-2 days. May need to be blended again to regain slushy texture.
