- 1 box of vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, diced
- 1 cup of crushed cookies (like vanilla wafers or graham crackers)
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
Instructions
- Prepare the vanilla cake according to package instructions and bake in a 9×13 inch pan. Let it cool completely.
- In a bowl, combine the milk, sweetened condensed milk, and evaporated milk. Mix until well blended.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake with a fork and pour the milk mixture evenly over the cake. Allow it to soak in.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight to fully absorb the milks.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream evenly over the chilled cake.
- Combine crushed cookies with melted butter and mix well until coated.
- Sprinkle the cookie mixture generously on top of the whipped cream.
- Top with diced strawberries to add color and flavor.
