Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together the melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and milk in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips gently.
  6. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
