Description

A delightful dessert combining crunchy pretzels, sweet strawberries, and creamy filling, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pretzel rods, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool completely.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined. Spread this creamy mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
  3. Dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in the boiling water, stirring well until fully dissolved. Add in the sliced strawberries and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  4. Pour the slightly cooled Jell-O mixture over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until the dessert is set. Once ready, cut into squares and serve chilled.
