A refreshing blend of strawberries and lemonade, perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Hull the fresh strawberries by removing the green top and core, then rinse under cold water and drain in a colander.
  2. Mixing: Place hulled strawberries, lemonade, and sugar (if using) into a blender and blend on high until well-combined.
  3. Adding ice: Add in the ice and blend again until the mixture becomes smooth and slushy. Scrape down the sides of the blender if needed.
  4. Finishing: Taste the slushie and adjust sweetness with more sugar or lemonade if necessary. Pour into glasses and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

For an extra cold slushie, freeze strawberries beforehand or use frozen strawberries, adjusting the ice accordingly. Consider adding a splash of vodka or rum for an adult version.
