- 1 lb large shrimp
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 8 oz linguine
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Pasta cooking water
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil over medium heat until melted and well combined.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Cook the shrimp until pink and opaque, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in white wine and lemon juice, simmering until slightly reduced.
- Toss in the cooked linguine and a splash of pasta cooking water.
- Stir in chopped parsley and grated parmesan until creamy.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
