Delightful cookies combining the gooey goodness of brownies with a crunchy texture, topped with luscious salted caramel.

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated and brown sugars until smooth.
- Stir in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips and half of the caramel sauce. Drop tablespoon-sized balls onto prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce over cookies and sprinkle with sea salt. Cool on sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
For extra flavor, use dark chocolate chips or reduce sugar for less sweetness. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
