Description

Delightful cookies combining the gooey goodness of brownies with a crunchy texture, topped with luscious salted caramel.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated and brown sugars until smooth.
  3. Stir in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and half of the caramel sauce. Drop tablespoon-sized balls onto prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce over cookies and sprinkle with sea salt. Cool on sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

For extra flavor, use dark chocolate chips or reduce sugar for less sweetness. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
