Description

These vibrant tacos combine the lightness of rice paper wrappers with flavorful ground meat, fresh herbs, and crisp vegetables for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • Rice paper wrappers
  • Ground meat (beef, chicken, or tofu)
  • Shredded vegetables (cabbage, carrots, bell peppers)
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Ginger (minced)
  • Fresh herbs (cilantro, mint)
  • Chili sauce (for serving)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft, about 5-10 minutes.
  2. Cook the ground meat with minced garlic and ginger in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the shredded vegetables and soy sauce to the skillet, stir-frying until the vegetables soften but retain some crunch.
  4. Lay a rice paper wrapper flat, place a spoonful of the filling in the center, and roll tightly.

Notes

Keep wrappers moist with a damp cloth and don’t overload the filling for easy rolling.
