- 1 cake mix (flavor of your choice)
- 1 can frosting (flavor of your choice)
- Candy melts (green or purple)
- Candy eyes
- Lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the frosting until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Freeze the cake balls for about 30 minutes so they firm up.
- Melt the candy melts in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted candy and insert it into each cake ball.
- Dip the entire cake pop into the melted candy, allowing excess to drip off, then place it back on the baking sheet.
- While the coating is still wet, add the candy eyes and optional sprinkles.
- Let the pops set completely before serving.
