Description

Fun and whimsical cake pops perfect for parties and Halloween, easy to customize, and delightful for all ages.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cake mix (flavor of your choice)
  • 1 can frosting (flavor of your choice)
  • Candy melts (green or purple)
  • Candy eyes
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the frosting until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the cake balls for about 30 minutes so they firm up.
  5. Melt the candy melts in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  6. Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted candy and insert it into each cake ball.
  7. Dip the entire cake pop into the melted candy, allowing excess to drip off, then place it back on the baking sheet.
  8. While the coating is still wet, add the candy eyes and optional sprinkles.
  9. Let the pops set completely before serving.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
