Description

A quick and easy snack combining dates, nuts, and dark chocolate for a delicious guilt-free treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 cup nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, or pistachios)
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to create a non-stick surface for your bark.
  2. Blend the pitted dates in a food processor until a sticky paste forms.
  3. Add the nuts to the food processor and blend until roughly chopped.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips and coconut flakes (if using) until well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture onto the parchment paper and press down evenly, about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm.
  7. Cut into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months.
