Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 12 small hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
- 1/2 cup Big Mac sauce (or special sauce)
- Onion slices (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill or stovetop pan over medium heat.
- Mix the ground beef with salt and pepper in a large bowl until combined.
- Form the beef mixture into small patties about 2 inches in diameter. Cook on the grill for 3-4 minutes on each side, adding cheese during the last minute.
- While the patties cook, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until golden brown. Assemble each mini burger with a patty, lettuce, pickles, sauce, and optional onion slices.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh off the grill. For a fun experience, set up a mini burger bar with various toppings.
