Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup mango nectar or juice (chilled)
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/4 cup chamoy sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- 2 tablespoons Tajín Clásico Seasoning
- Fresh mango cubes (for garnish)
- Tamarind candy straws (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Rim the Glasses. Place a small amount of chamoy sauce on a shallow plate and some Tajín seasoning on another. Dip the rims of two large glasses first into the chamoy and then into the Tajín to create a spicy, flavorful crust.
- Step 2: Blend the Slushie Base. In a high-speed blender, combine the frozen mango chunks, mango nectar, fresh lime juice, and ice cubes. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and reaches a thick, slushie-like consistency. If it is too thick, add a splash more mango nectar.
- Step 3: Prepare the Swirl. Tilt your prepared glasses slightly and drizzle a generous amount of chamoy sauce along the inside walls of the glasses. Rotate the glass as you pour to create a beautiful red marble effect.
- Step 4: Assemble the Drink. Carefully pour the mango slushie mixture into the glasses, filling them about halfway. Add another small drizzle of chamoy and a sprinkle of Tajín in the middle, then fill to the top with the remaining slushie.
- Step 5: Garnish and Serve. Top each glass with fresh mango cubes, another sprinkle of Tajín, and a final drizzle of chamoy. Insert a tamarind candy straw or a regular straw and serve immediately while icy cold.
