Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the milk and lemon juice.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix gently.
- Fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Beat together the frosting ingredients until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled cake and garnish with additional fresh strawberries.
