Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 1 can blueberry pie filling
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the blueberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the lemon cake mix evenly over the blueberry pie filling.
  4. Pour 1 cup of water over the cake mix.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter on top.
  6. Sprinkle fresh blueberries on top (optional).
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let the cake cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

For an intense lemon flavor, add lemon zest to the cake mix. Use homemade blueberry pie filling for a fresh twist.
