Description

A warm and comforting twist on the classic Kentucky Hot Brown sandwich, combining turkey, bacon, and creamy cheese sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked turkey, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup sourdough bread, toasted and cubed
  • 2 cups Mornay sauce (cheese sauce)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like Parmesan or cheddar)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine in a large mixing bowl the cooked turkey, crumbled bacon, and cubed sourdough bread.
  3. Pour the Mornay sauce over the mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can also be frozen before baking.
