Description

Elevate your steak game with this easy-to-make marinade that infuses meat with robust flavors for a juicy and tender result.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients. This ensures you have everything on hand, making the process smooth and enjoyable.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, molasses, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until everything is well combined and the molasses is fully dissolved.
  3. Place your steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, making sure it’s well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate the steak in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to overnight.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the excess. Grill, pan-sear, or smoke the steak to your desired doneness.

Notes

For a zesty twist, consider adding lime or lemon juice, but don’t add acids too early as they can break down the meat.
