- 2 small sweet onions
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Peel the onions and trim the tops. Cut each onion into quarters, leaving the root intact.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
- Coat each onion in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and return to the flour mixture for a second coating.
- Place the coated onions in the air fryer basket, spray lightly with cooking spray, and cook for 10-12 minutes until crispy and golden.
Notes
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
