  • Diet: Carnivore

Description

Irresistible combination of savory beef and melted cheese encased in a crispy tortilla, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and follow the package instructions to mix it thoroughly with the beef.
  3. Heat another skillet over medium heat and add vegetable oil to coat the bottom.
  4. Place one tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle half of the cheese on one half, add seasoned beef, fold, and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove from the skillet, repeat with remaining ingredients, cut into wedges, and serve hot with toppings.

Notes

For a healthier option, use lean ground beef and customize with different cheeses or add vegetables.
