- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles or rice for serving
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked, stirring occasionally. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced mushrooms and continue to cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Sprinkle the flour over the beef and mushroom mixture, stirring to combine. Gradually add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to thicken.
- Lower the heat and mix in the sour cream, stirring until fully incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm over egg noodles or rice, garnished with parsley.
