- 3 large potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the diced potatoes and cook until they begin to soften, about 10 minutes.
- Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper; cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Return the ground beef to the skillet.
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce, if using.
- Cook until heated through and potatoes are cooked through, about 5 more minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve.
Notes
For a leaner dish, use 90% lean ground beef. Add vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
