Description

A hearty dish blending seasoned ground beef with tender, crispy potatoes and colorful vegetables, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
  3. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the diced potatoes and cook until they begin to soften, about 10 minutes.
  5. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper; cook until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Return the ground beef to the skillet.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce, if using.
  8. Cook until heated through and potatoes are cooked through, about 5 more minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve.

Notes

For a leaner dish, use 90% lean ground beef. Add vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
