Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 sheet of pie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Toss the peach slices with olive oil, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Place the peach slices on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Roll out the pie dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch circle.
  5. Arrange the grilled peaches in the center of the dough, leaving a 2-inch border.
  6. Fold the edges of the dough over the peaches, creating pleats.
  7. Brush the crust with beaten egg and sprinkle the remaining sugar over the top.
  8. Bake the galette at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let the galette cool slightly before serving.
