Description

Deliciously spiced Grilled Kofta Kebabs made from seasoned ground meat, perfect for barbecues and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground meat, grated onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  2. Form the mixture into long, thick sausages around the skewers. Make sure they are securely attached, so they don’t fall apart while grilling.
  3. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Once ready, place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until fully cooked and browned.
  4. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Serve with pita bread, salad, or your choice of toppings.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute ground meat with a mixture of cooked lentils and chopped veggies. Always soak wooden skewers to prevent burning.
