- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh lettuce and tomato for topping
Instructions
- Combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into four equal burger patties, about ¾ inch thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make the tzatziki sauce.
- Assemble the burgers on buns with tzatziki, lettuce, and tomato, then serve immediately.
Notes
These burgers can be grilled instead of pan-fried for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
