Incredibly juicy and bursting with flavor, these Greek Chicken Burgers with Tzatziki Sauce are a delightful twist on the traditional burger.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh lettuce and tomato for topping

Instructions

  1. Combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into four equal burger patties, about ¾ inch thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make the tzatziki sauce.
  5. Assemble the burgers on buns with tzatziki, lettuce, and tomato, then serve immediately.

Notes

These burgers can be grilled instead of pan-fried for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
