Description

A delightful gourmet dish featuring nutty brown butter and savory garlic, served with spaghetti squash. Perfect as a main or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 spaghetti squash
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  2. Place the squash halves cut-side down on a baking sheet. Roast for 40-50 minutes until tender.
  3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  4. Remove the roasted squash from the oven. Using a fork, scrape the flesh into strands. Combine with garlic butter, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Toss well and serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Microwave the spaghetti squash for 5-10 minutes if it’s difficult to cut. For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
