Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups of seedless watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons Tajin Clásico Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
- Fresh lime zest for garnish
Instructions
- Start by cutting a fresh, seedless watermelon into uniform 1-inch cubes. Use a paper towel to gently pat the cubes dry; this helps the yogurt layer adhere better to the fruit surface.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt and honey (if using). If you prefer a thinner coating, you can add a teaspoon of lime juice to the mixture to slightly loosen the consistency.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a fork or a toothpick, dip the top half of each watermelon cube into the yogurt mixture. Place the cubes yogurt-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- While the yogurt is still wet, generously sprinkle Tajin seasoning over each bite. Add a little fresh lime zest on top for an extra aromatic kick and a bright pop of color.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 2 hours, or until the yogurt is completely firm and the watermelon is chilled through. Avoid over-freezing for more than 4 hours if you want the watermelon to maintain a slightly soft, biteable texture.
- Cook Time: 2 hours 15 minutes
