- 2 cups fresh figs, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup honey or sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a blender, combine chopped figs and honey (or sugar) and blend until smooth.
- Mix in a bowl ricotta cheese, heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Stir in the fig mixture until fully incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer the mixture to a container and freeze for at least 240 minutes or until firm.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, consider garnishing with fresh fig slices or nuts. Ensure the ice cream is well-churned to avoid ice crystals.
