Description

A fresh and creamy Fig Ricotta Ice Cream that combines the earthy sweetness of figs with the richness of ricotta, perfect for summer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup honey or sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine chopped figs and honey (or sugar) and blend until smooth.
  2. Mix in a bowl ricotta cheese, heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Stir in the fig mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a container and freeze for at least 240 minutes or until firm.
