Description

A fun and flavorful baked dish that combines the bold taste of tacos with layers of Doritos, seasoned beef, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups Doritos corn chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
  • 1 cup sour cream (optional)
  • Chopped green onions or cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef over medium heat in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet, stirring until well combined. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Layer half of the Doritos in a baking dish. Spread half of the beef mixture on top, sprinkle half of the cheese, and repeat with remaining ingredients.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Cool for a few minutes before serving and garnish with sour cream, green onions, or cilantro if desired.
