- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups Doritos corn chips
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (optional)
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
- 1 cup sour cream (optional)
- Chopped green onions or cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef over medium heat in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet, stirring until well combined. Simmer until thickened.
- Layer half of the Doritos in a baking dish. Spread half of the beef mixture on top, sprinkle half of the cheese, and repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving and garnish with sour cream, green onions, or cilantro if desired.
