- 4 Banana peppers
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Cornmeal
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 Eggs
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Slice the banana peppers in half and remove the seeds.
- Mix together the flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl. Dip each banana pepper half first into the egg, then into the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the coated banana peppers until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Drain the fried banana peppers on paper towels and serve warm.
