- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions
- Heat a large pan over medium heat and brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté until onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, oregano, and red pepper flakes; let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and toss with the creamy meat sauce. Stir in fresh basil and top with Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a plant-based alternative. You can also add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for added nutrition.
