Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in the orange zest, fresh orange juice, and white chocolate chips.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
