Description
A creamy and delicious cottage cheese ice cream paired with chocolate chips, perfect for a refreshing yet healthy dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Start by gathering all your ingredients. In a blender, combine the cottage cheese, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
- Once blended, pour the mixture into a mixing bowl. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to churn and freeze until it reaches a soft-serve consistency. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, simply transfer the mixture to a container and freeze it for about 2-3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Once your ice cream is frozen to your liking, scoop it into bowls or cones. Enjoy this decadent treat right away or store it for later.
Notes
Store any leftover ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for 1-2 weeks. Stir periodically when using the no-churn method to maintain creaminess.
