Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, shredded coconut, and melted butter in a medium bowl.
  3. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to create a crust.
  4. Stir together the sweetened condensed milk and crushed pineapple in another bowl.
  5. Pour the creamy mixture over the crust and sprinkle the chopped walnuts or pecans on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and set.
  7. Allow the bars to cool completely, then top with whipped cream before cutting into squares.
