- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs, shredded coconut, and melted butter in a medium bowl.
- Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to create a crust.
- Stir together the sweetened condensed milk and crushed pineapple in another bowl.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the crust and sprinkle the chopped walnuts or pecans on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and set.
- Allow the bars to cool completely, then top with whipped cream before cutting into squares.
