- 8 oz egg noodles
- 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, frozen peas, milk, black pepper, onion powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
- Gently fold in the cooked egg noodles into the tuna mixture and pour into a greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown. Serve warm.
Notes
For a crunchier topping, broil the casserole for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Use different cheeses or add more vegetables for variation.
