- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup streusel topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
- Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well.
- Stir in the buttermilk and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chopped apples and nuts if using. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and sprinkle with streusel topping if desired.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Great with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
