Description

Delightful and indulgent, these Chocolate Covered Banana Pops are a fun and tasty treat that combines the natural sweetness of bananas with rich, melted chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Sprinkles or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Insert a popsicle stick into each half, ensuring it’s firmly in place for handling later.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until completely smooth and glossy.
  3. Dip each banana half into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat it well. Let any excess chocolate drip off before proceeding.
  4. If desired, roll the chocolate-covered bananas in sprinkles or chopped nuts for an extra burst of flavor and texture.
  5. Place the finished pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet and transfer to the freezer. Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until solid.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks. Use ripe bananas for the best flavor and texture.
