Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic in a skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until well combined.
- Pour the beef mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.

- Top with the remaining cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
