Description

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
