Blueberry Lemonade

Description

A refreshing twist on the classic summer beverage combining sweet blueberries and tart lemons.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice
  • Lemon slices and blueberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the fresh blueberries with 1 cup of water in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the blueberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the solids.
  3. Add lemon juice, sugar, and the remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if needed.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and whole blueberries. Enjoy!

Notes

For a beautiful presentation, serve in clear glasses, add ice, and garnish each glass with lemon slices and blueberries. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
