- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and mash them thoroughly in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Combine the mashed bananas with the cream mixture and stir well.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- During the last few minutes of churning, add the crushed vanilla wafers to the ice cream.
- Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4-6 hours until firm.
- Serve the Banana Pudding Ice Cream scoops in bowls or cones.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and whole milk with almond milk. Choose ripe bananas for the best flavor.
