Description

A quick and satisfying dish bringing together tender beef and vibrant broccoli in a savory stir-fry sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Flank steak
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 3 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 3 cups Rice, cooked

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak paper-thin against the grain and marinate it in a mixture of soy sauce and cornstarch.
  2. Heat a wok until it’s screaming hot.
  3. Add the marinated flank steak to the hot wok and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry until crisp-tender, around 2 minutes.
  5. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  6. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli in the wok.
  7. Toss everything together until evenly coated and heated through.
  8. Serve the stir-fry hot over cooked rice.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes or sriracha to the sauce.
