Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Spread the sliced bananas evenly across the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  3. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  4. Whisk together the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter over the bananas in the baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let the cobbler cool for a few minutes before serving.
