Description

A delightful dessert that combines creamy cheesecake with a comforting apple crisp topping, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 medium tart apples, sliced
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup flour
  • ⅓ cup cold diced butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to create a crust. Bake for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Beat until smooth, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Pour over the pre-baked crust.
  3. Toss sliced apples with cinnamon and brown sugar until coated. Layer the apples over the cheesecake filling. For the topping, mix oats, flour, and brown sugar, then cut in cold butter until resembling coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the apples.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the center is set and slightly wobbly. Cool and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, drizzle with caramel sauce or serve with whipped cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
