Air Fryer Sweet and Spicy Beef Stir Fry Bites

Air Fryer Sweet and Spicy Beef Stir Fry Bites

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Diet: High-Protein

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs Sirloin steak or Flank steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, forwarded
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the beef cubes dry with a paper towel to ensure they crisp up properly. In a medium mixing bowl, toss the beef cubes with the cornstarch and black pepper until every piece is evenly coated. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sriracha, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Pour half of this sauce over the beef and toss to coat, reserving the other half for later.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with a high-smoke-point oil. Place the beef bites in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap. Cook the beef for 8 to 10 minutes. Halfway through the cooking time, shake the basket vigorously to ensure all sides of the beef get that beautiful golden-brown char.
  3. Once the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness, remove the bites from the air fryer and place them in a clean bowl. Pour the reserved sauce over the hot beef bites and toss thoroughly until they are sticky and glazed. Transfer the beef to a serving platter or over a bed of steamed rice. Garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and fresh green onions for a pop of color and crunch.
