Description

A crispy and flavorful side dish made from fennel bulbs, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • Fennel bulbs
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder, herbs (like thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). While it’s heating, trim the fennel bulbs to remove the stalks and root. Slice the bulbs into wedges, approximately 1-inch thick for even cooking.
  2. Toss the fennel wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings you desire, such as garlic powder or herbs. Make sure the fennel is well coated for maximum flavor.
  3. Arrange the fennel wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking process to ensure even crisping.
  4. Remove the fennel from the air fryer and serve it warm as a delightful side dish.

Notes

For leftovers, cool completely, store in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or microwave.
