Ingredients

  • 2 cups Frozen Pineapple Chunks
  • 1 inch Fresh Ginger (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 1/2 inch Fresh Turmeric (peeled and roughly chopped, or 1/2 tsp ground turmeric)
  • 1 cup Coconut Water (or almond milk, or water)
  • 1/2 Ripe Banana (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tsp Honey or Maple Syrup (optional)
  • Pinch Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and peel the fresh ginger and turmeric. If you’re using a banana, peel and slice it.
  2. Combine all ingredients into a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Add more liquid if needed.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired.
  5. Pour immediately into two glasses and serve fresh.

Notes

For extra nutrition, add spinach or kale. Use frozen fruits for a frostier texture.
