Description
Delicious chicken wings cooked in an air fryer for a crispy, juicy treat without the guilt of traditional frying.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings (split into drumettes and flats)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings completely dry using paper towels to remove any moisture.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Once ready, place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping. Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip the wings and cook for another 10–12 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Remove the wings from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces and sides.
Notes
Ensure wings are thoroughly dry for maximum crispiness. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
