- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup water chestnuts, diced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Szechuan sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 head of lettuce (butter or iceberg)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha (or to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Add garlic, diced bell pepper, water chestnuts, and sliced green onions to the skillet. Stir-fry the mixture for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften.
- Stir in soy sauce, Szechuan sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes, letting the flavors meld together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and Sriracha to create a spicy mayo. Serve the chicken mixture in lettuce leaves and drizzle or dollop with the spicy mayo. Enjoy your delicious wraps!
Notes
For added crunch, try using sliced almonds or peanuts as a topping. Customize the filling by adding other vegetables like mushrooms, carrots, or zucchini.
