Description
Delightful bites of tender chicken coated in a tangy-sweet sauce, perfect for gatherings or a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined. This will create a flavorful marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and stir to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat an oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a stovetop pan over medium heat. Spread chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper if using the oven.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through and golden brown.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve warm.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight. Consider using chicken thighs for juicier bites.
