Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan generously.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
  3. Mix in the baking soda and salt, then add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until well mixed.
  4. Gently stir in the flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
