- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan generously.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt, then add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until well mixed.
- Gently stir in the flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
